What are your unpopular arcane opinions

I've been rewatching Arcane, and honestly, some of my opinions are getting spicier with each viewing. When I first saw the call for 'unpopular Arcane opinions,' I knew I had to jump in because, let's be real, this show is a goldmine for complex characters and difficult moral questions that go far beyond surface-level heroics. My biggest hot take? Jayce Talis. Everyone hails him as the golden boy, the 'smartest man in Piltover,' but let's break it down. He often preaches about progress and maintaining a moral high ground, yet he consistently appears blind to the systemic issues plaguing the Undercity. It constantly baffled me how someone so brilliant in science could be so utterly clueless about social justice. He seemed unable to figure out how to 'redistribute wealth' or even ensure 'clean drinking water' for those suffering literally beneath his feet. He was, in many ways, a huge part of the problem, contributing to the class struggle by maintaining the status quo, even if unintentionally. It’s easy to be a visionary when you’re not the one struggling for basic necessities, and his idealism often felt disconnected from the harsh realities faced by Zaun. And then there’s Jinx. I know many were heartbroken by her actions, especially killing the council. But honestly, I wasn't 'mad Jinx killed the council.' In fact, considering the circumstances, I thought her aim was pretty precise in targeting those who had allowed the Undercity to suffer for so long, delaying rights and resources until it was 'too late.' They had, in a sense, made their bed. My real frustration, and what makes me 'more mad,' is that her fury ended up hurting 'her own people' in the process. It's a tragic cycle caused by the powerful figures in Piltover – these 'tech bros' – who seem to believe they can 'capitalism their way out of class struggle power.' The council was undeniably complicit; their neglect enabled figures like Silco to deepen the crisis in the Undercity, pushing its population to desperate measures. The entire dynamic between Piltover and Zaun (the Undercity) is a stark reminder of what happens when power is concentrated and empathy is lacking. The glittering progress in Piltover came at the direct expense of the Undercity, and the council's reluctance to grant them basic rights or even safe living conditions created the powder keg for everything that eventually exploded. It's not just about clear-cut good versus evil characters, but about profound systemic failures that lead to immense suffering and cycles of violence. So yeah, these are my unfiltered, probably very unpopular, Arcane opinions. It’s hard to watch the show and not feel strongly about these things, especially when you look beyond the surface.
