I need as many people as possible to know just in case anything happens to me. She knows what car I drive, where I live etc. I can’t seem to block her because she keeps creating new accounts to harass me in my comments. There are other things I’ve noticed in my day to day and it’s really starting to scare me. Hopefully she’ll see this and back off. I will not private my page I’ve worked so hard to build up over the years. I’m mad enough about having to halt my posts. #creatorsearchinsights #sos #stalkerstory
I completely understand how overwhelming it can be when harassment follows you not only online but also in your daily life. From my own experience, dealing with someone who knows intimate details like your car and where you live adds an extra level of fear and vulnerability. One important step is documenting every incident, such as new accounts or messages, as evidence which can help if you decide to report the stalker to authorities or platform moderators. Blocking may seem ineffective when the harasser keeps creating new accounts, but combining this with adjusting your privacy settings on other social platforms, being cautious about what information you share publicly, and informing close friends or neighbors can enhance your safety. There are also specialized apps and services designed to detect and prevent stalking activities. It's also critical to prioritize your mental health. Seek support from trusted friends, family, or professional counselors who can provide emotional backing during such stressful times. Sharing your story, like in this post tagged #sos and #stalkerstory, can not only help you feel less isolated but also raise awareness and potentially warn others. Remember, protecting your hard-earned online presence while safeguarding your personal safety is a challenging but achievable balance. Taking proactive steps and seeking help when needed can empower you to regain control and peace of mind amid stalking and harassment.
