The Philly Cheesesteak BURRITO:🌯😍
📋 Ingredients (Makes 2 huge burritos):
· 2 large burrito-size flour tortillas
· 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced (or shaved beef)
· 1 large onion, thinly sliced
· 1 green bell pepper, sliced
· 8 oz sliced mushrooms (optional)
· 2 tbsp vegetable oil
· Salt, black pepper, garlic powder
· 6 slices provolone cheese
· ½ cup Cheez Whiz or nacho cheese sauce
· To Griddle: 2 tbsp butter
👨🍳 Instructions:
1. Cook Filling: Heat oil in skillet. Sauté onions & peppers until soft and caramelized. Remove. Cook steak in same pan until browned. Season. Add veggies back.
2. Cheese: Place provolone slices over the hot filling to melt. Stir in Cheez Whiz.
3. Assemble: Pile filling onto tortillas. Fold sides, roll tightly.
4. Griddle: Melt butter on griddle or skillet. Place burrito seam-side down. Cook 2-3 min per side until golden and crispy.
5. Serve: Slice in half and watch the cheese ooze!
