ในชีวิตประจำวันของเราหลายคนคงเคยเจอเหตุการณ์ที่เงินในกระเป๋าตังค์ลดลงแบบรวดเร็วและไม่ทันตั้งตัว โดยเฉพาะในช่วงที่ซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ต หรือร้านสะดวกซื้อจัดโปรโมชั่นต่างๆ เช่น ซื้อ 2 ถุงราคาถูกกว่า ซื้อครบได้แถม หรือส่วนลดพิเศษที่มักจะทำให้เรารู้สึกว่าซื้อเยอะแล้วคุ้ม ทั้งที่ในความจริงแล้วเราไม่ได้อยากได้ของเพิ่มเติมเหล่านั้นจริงๆ จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว ผมพบว่าการโดนแผนเหล่านี้เป็นเรื่องปกติ เพราะแผนโปรโมชั่นต่างๆ ถูกออกแบบมาอย่างชาญฉลาดเพื่อกระตุ้นให้เราตัดสินใจซื้ออย่างเร่งด่วน เพราะกลัวพลาดโอกาสดีๆ หรือได้รับของแถมที่ดูน่าคุ้มค่า ส่งผลให้หลายครั้งเงินที่วางแผนจะใช้ก็ลดลงอย่างรวดเร็วโดยไม่รู้ตัว หนึ่งในกับดักที่พบได้บ่อยคือ Flash Sale หรือดีลจำกัดเวลา ที่ทำให้เราตัดสินใจเร็วโดยไม่ได้พิจารณาความจำเป็นอย่างรอบคอบ หรือการแสดงราคาก่อนลดแบบสูงกว่าปกติ เพื่อให้ดูเหมือนว่าสินค้าราคาถูกลงมาก ทั้งที่ราคาจริงๆ ก็ไม่ได้ต่างกันมากนัก นอกจากนี้ ข้อเสนอส่งฟรีถ้าซื้อเพิ่มอีกเล็กน้อยก็มักทำให้เราจ่ายเงินเพิ่มโดยไม่จำเป็น เพราะจริงๆ แล้วเราแค่จ่ายเพิ่มในส่วนนั้นเพื่อเลี่ยงค่าจัดส่งเท่านั้น วิธีป้องกันกับดักเหล่านี้คือการเพิ่มภูมิคุ้มกันด้วยตัวเอง โดยใช้สติและวางแผนการเงินอย่างชัดเจน ตั้งคำถามกับตัวเองก่อนซื้อทุกครั้งว่า "นี่คือสิ่งที่ฉันต้องการจริงๆ หรือแค่หลงกลโปรโมชั่น" และ "ถ้าไม่ได้ลดราคานี้ ฉันจะซื้อสินค้านี้ไหม" การสนุกกับการเล่นเกมส์เอาชนะใจตัวเองในเรื่องการใช้เงินจึงเป็นเทคนิคที่มีประโยชน์มาก ช่วยให้ไม่ใช้จ่ายเกินจำเป็นและรักษาสมดุลชีวิตทางการเงินให้ดีขึ้น สุดท้าย แม้โปรโมชั่นจะดูน่าดึงดูดแค่ไหน การรักษาใจไม่ให้ตกเป็นเหยื่อทางการตลาด ก็เป็นเรื่องสำคัญที่ช่วยให้เงินของเรายังอยู่ในกระเป๋าได้นานขึ้น และยังทำให้เราได้ความสุขจากการใช้จ่ายอย่างมีสติ ไม่ต้องหวั่นไหวจนต้องมานั่งเสียดายภายหลัง
