My go-to strategy, especially in open-world style games like Pokémon Legends: Arceus (which I assume 'legend, ZA' refers to, or similar exploration-focused ones), involves a few things. Always check the Wild Zone areas where your target Pokémon typically appear. For Mareep, I usually scout grassy plains and fields. Persistence is absolutely key! Sometimes you get incredibly lucky like I did, and other times it takes hours of searching, resetting, and just grinding. Don't give up! I've had hunts that stretched for days, but the payoff is always worth it. Another method I sometimes use is the Masuda Method for breeding, but for wild encounters, it's all about patience and exploration. Another tip is to always save frequently, especially before entering areas with mass outbreaks or when you're about to reset your game if a shiny doesn't appear. While the charm boosts your odds, it's still about patience and a bit of strategic gameplay. I also absolutely love filling out my shinydex – it’s so incredibly satisfying to see all those sparkly entries pile up. Each one tells a story of perseverance and luck! For Mareep specifically, this adorable electric sheep is usually found in early-game routes, making it a relatively accessible shiny target once you have your charm. Its vibrant pink color is just too iconic and cute! When I spotted mine, I literally did a double-take. It was just wandering around, looking all innocent and oblivious to its special glow.
