I read only one book in June. Which is okay. Sometimes it happens. Life was hectic and I didn’t have time nor did I want to read.
Which saddens me because reading helps me in so many ways. I think I got burned out to an extent. Always trying to read the current trends. Pushing through books even if they didn’t tickle my fancy.
Thrillers have my heart. So here’s to no more pushing through books that don’t make me happy. I love a good sappy romance, but I’ll always pick a thriller. It’s okay to DNF a book. It’s also okay to take a break from social media and reading.
