Top 5 Freida Readas
I love, LOVE Freida McFadden!
She was my go to to pull me out of a reading slump… until I read all of her books. 🫣
These are my top five of her books. I love that the chapters are short, makes me feel like I’m accomplishing more. Until I read the whole book by 3am and then all I’ve accomplished is no sleep. LOL 😆
The Teacher was my first read of hers, and I know a lot of people do not like it, it was catchy. So I just never stopped. One by One is my favorite and my close second is Do Not Disturb!
Have you read any of hers? What’s your favorite?

It's incredible how one author can completely pull you out of a reading slump, and for me, that's Freida McFadden! Her knack for crafting psychological thrillers with short, snappy chapters is pure genius. If you're anything like me, you've probably devoured her entire collection, leaving you craving more of those unforgettable twists. Let's dive deeper into some of her masterpieces, especially 'Do Not Disturb,' which many of you are curious about. The cover itself, with that iconic yellow 'Do Not Disturb' sign hanging on a wooden door, immediately sets a chilling tone. It perfectly hints at the secrets and isolation within its pages. As for the story, 'Do Not Disturb' is a masterclass in suspense. It throws you right into the protagonist's world, where nothing is quite as it seems. The rapid-fire plot twists keep you guessing until the very last page, making it nearly impossible to put down. It truly earned its spot as one of my top favorites for its sheer unpredictability and the way it delves into the darker side of human nature. Then there's 'The Teacher,' which was my very first Freida McFadden read. The cover, with that ominous apple impaled by a knife, is so striking and instantly tells you this isn't your average classroom drama. While some might have mixed feelings about it, I found it utterly captivating and it solidified my love for her writing style. The way she builds tension and introduces morally gray characters is just brilliant. And of course, my absolute favorite, 'One by One.' That cover, showing a lone house with illuminated windows in a dark, snowy forest, perfectly encapsulates the isolated and eerie atmosphere of the book. It’s a relentless, nail-biting read that explores themes of trust and betrayal with such intensity. Every chapter leaves you wanting more, pulling you deeper into its web of deceit. Don't forget about 'The Locked Door,' which features a bold red door on a dark background – another one that promises mystery and hidden truths. And who could forget 'Do You Remember?', with its poignant cover displaying a vase with red roses, hinting at memory loss and its devastating consequences. These covers aren't just pretty pictures; they're integral to the Freida McFadden experience, often foreshadowing the dark roads ahead. What makes Freida McFadden so special, beyond her gripping plots, is her consistency in delivering high-quality thrillers. She’s an author who understands the psychological depth of her characters and isn't afraid to explore uncomfortable truths. Her short chapters are a blessing for busy readers, but be warned – they're also what make you stay up until 3 AM, promising yourself 'just one more chapter.' If you're looking for an author who guarantees an adrenaline rush with every turn of the page, Freida McFadden is undoubtedly your go-to. Her books are perfect for anyone seeking a quick, intense escape that leaves you breathless.

I was not a fan of One By One…. I felt like it dragged, then ending was good though! My favorite so far is The Crash, I cant get that damn book out of my head!
