🇬🇧 12 Hours in Wales Itinerary ⬇️
Located 2 hours away from Manchester is where you’ll find the best fish & chips in the UK (the best I’ve ever had) + a cute little neighborhood with so many stores to shop from. Although my time was short, I was so lucky to explore so much of what Wales had to offer with @VisitWales and of course, bought goodies for friends & family back home!

Wales is was perfect for the weekend so here’s an itinerary on things to do:
🏰 Take a direct train with @tfrwail from Manchester and get off at Llandudno Junction. The ride takes about 2-2.5 hours one way 🚉
🏰 Grab coffee at @providerocoffee ☕️
🏰 Then, steps away is where you’ll find the best fish & chips I’ve ever had at @enochsfishchips 🐟 They even have a spicy option (which I obviously got) — it’ll be hard not finishing your plate
🏰 Check into your hotel. I stayed at @castlehotelconwy and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay since it’s in the center of all the tourist attractions, has such welcoming staff, and amazing food options downstairs!
🏰 Head over to Conwy Castle and admire it’s architecture — it’s hard to miss as you’ll see views of it in every corner of town.
🏰 Since Conwy is walkable, head downtown and shop around all the stores! Conwy is actually known for their salt & obviously had to buy some for home!
🏰 View the Smallest House in Great Britain. Just make sure you get there before 4pm because they will not let anyone in before that but it’s quite the site
🏰 Visit Plas Mawr and admire the beautiful rooms and gardens 🌸
🏰 Dine in for dinner at the @castlehotelconwy 🥘
🏰 Grab dessert at @parisellasicecream_parlour — they’re Ferraro Chocolate was mouthwatering 🤤
🏰 Catch sunset at North Shore Beach 🌅 Viewing the Victorian Houses along the mountains was my favorite part of the trip
Exploring Wales was one for the books + couldn’t have been happier ending my UK trip in this beautiful town 🥰 Is visiting Wales on your list?! 👇

My recent 12-hour adventure through North Wales was truly unforgettable, and I'm so excited to share more insights beyond my initial itinerary! Even on a quick trip, Conwy and its surroundings offer so much, and I've got some extra tips to help you make the most of your visit, whether you're planning a similar short 'itinerary for Wales' or looking for 'activities in North Wales'. Starting your day with a comforting coffee from Providero is a perfect kick-off before diving into the historic wonders. Conwy Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site, isn't just a backdrop; it's a monumental piece of history. Walking its battlements truly transports you back in time, offering incredible panoramic views of the estuary and town – definitely one of the top 'things to do in Conwy North Wales'. And just a short stroll away is Plas Mawr, a stunning Elizabethan townhouse. Its intricate plasterwork and period furnishings provide a fascinating glimpse into 16th-century life. It's an often-overlooked gem, but so worth visiting, especially if you're keen on exploring 'things to do in Gwynedd's' rich past. Of course, no '12 hour' visit would be complete without experiencing the local cuisine. My find at Enoch's for 'fish & chips' was a game-changer! Seriously, the best I've ever had, especially with that spicy option. It’s a must-try for any food lover seeking authentic 'activities in Wales'. After exploring, wandering around Conwy's charming streets, browsing the independent shops for local crafts and, yes, that famous Conwy salt, is a delightful experience. Don't forget to pop into The Smallest House in Great Britain – it’s a quirky, memorable stop that adds a unique touch to your 'Wales itinerary'. For dinner, The Castle Hotel, where I stayed, offers fantastic dining options, making it a convenient and delicious choice before heading off for dessert. For dessert, Parisella’s Ice Cream Parlour is non-negotiable. Their Ferraro Chocolate was heavenly and the perfect treat after a day of sightseeing. And as the day winds down, catching sunset at North Shore Beach, gazing at the Victorian houses, is pure bliss. It’s an ideal way to reflect on your 'North Wales adventure'. What if the weather isn't cooperating? Don't worry, even on a 'rainy day' in North Wales, there's plenty to enjoy. Conwy Castle and Plas Mawr offer substantial indoor exploration, and the town's numerous cozy cafes are perfect for sheltering with a warm drink. You could also explore the local museums or art galleries in nearby towns, expanding your options for 'activities in Conwy' even when it's wet. For those looking for more 'experience days Wales' offers, consider local artisan workshops or indoor activity centers. While my trip was a whirlwind 12 hours, Conwy truly highlights the best of North Wales. If you have more time, the broader Gwynedd region beckons with stunning Snowdonia landscapes, beautiful coastline, and countless 'activities in Wales for adults', from hiking to watersports. Even if you're just passing through on a '2 hour train ride from Manchester', making time for this special corner of Wales is absolutely worth it. It’s a perfect blend of history, natural beauty, and delicious local treats, making it one of my favorite 'days out' experiences in this part of Wales!
