How to have the perfect day in Dumbo, Brooklyn 🤍
Located south of Lower Manhattan is where you’ll find one of my favorite places to visit in New York, Dumbo. Located in Brooklyn, Dumbo has a ton of fascinating places to view of NYC, a handful of things to do, and a lot of photography spots. It could take you an entire afternoon to explore all of what Dumbo has to offer, but here are my top things to do:
- Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. This is one of the most iconic things to do in NYC, and a bucket list thing to do in NYC.
- Explore Brooklyn Bridge Park. With some of Brooklyn’s best views, grab some coffee at % Arabica, take a bunch of photos, and catch a sunset there
- Dine in at Time Out Market. Located parallel to BBP, there are a lot of restaurants located inside Time Out Market. There’s even free salsa dancing on Thursdays if you’re around - it’s also a great way to start off the night

For lunch, don’t miss the Time Out Market, where you can sample a variety of cuisines from some of Brooklyn’s best chefs. It’s an excellent spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a meal while soaking in the atmosphere. Keep an eye out for free salsa dancing events on Thursdays, making your evening vibrant and lively! Finally, as your day winds down, make sure to explore Dumbo's famous photography spots. This area is Instagram-worthy with its cobblestone streets and iconic views, perfect for capturing memorable moments from your Brooklyn adventure.
