Never forget where you come from
As my daughter has entered into her Threenager era. I am reminded to not forget where we come from.
At some point in our lives we started out not knowing something. Whatever that thing was, you are more than likely a PRO now at it and can teach others that same task.
I was going over some education tools with my 3 year old and realized that some things she may not know is because I hadn’t taught her yet.
Something we didn’t know but God had to reveal to us.
As God has taught us and encouraged us, one thing He shows us is Grace and Mercy. God gives us another chance to try again at the task at hand.
God showed me through my little 3 year old that Grace does not have a time limit.
As each of us continue along our daily journey, Grace is given to us in more ways than one.
Challenge: At the end of each day, think of how God has graced you. How many times? Then reflect over your life and think about the big picture and how God loved you so much to save you even when you weren’t speaking to Him.
I often look at the many situations that God saved or protected me. How many times I could’ve been dead but God protected me. He shielded me from ALL hurt harm and danger. Allowed me to bump my (theoretical)head but had a (theoretical) pillow near by. (Thank You God)
Prayer:
Thank You God for the opportunity to see another day. To get it right with You and to cry out to you. Thank you for not throwing us away but giving us grace when we needed it and protecting us from ourselves. We are so grateful to You for Your encamped angels that went before us and that protected us. We thank You father for never leaving us nor forsaking us. We will forever give You ALL the praise in Jesus name amen.
