Switch Friends?! 👀🫱🏻‍🫲🏾

Hey everyone! Since I'm pretty new to the Nintendo Switch world, I've been learning so much about connecting with other players. It's not always super obvious when you first start, but finding and adding friends is actually quite straightforward once you know where to look! I wanted to share my own experience and a quick guide on how to do it, because who wants to game alone, right? First things first, you'll need to find your own unique Friend Code. This is super important for others to add you. When you're on the Switch home screen, just click on your user icon in the top-left corner – that's your User Page. You'll see your profile name there, just like when I saw a profile named 'NinaBina' on a friend's console. Scroll down a bit on your User Page, and you'll spot your Friend Code, which usually starts with 'SW-'. Mine looks something like 'SW-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX' (or if you're looking at the example in an image, you might even see 'SW-0136-3426-2912'!). Keep this code handy, as you'll share it with people you want to connect with. Now, if you want to add someone else, it's just as easy! From your User Page, navigate to the 'Add Friend' option. You'll typically find this within your 'Friend List' menu. Once you click 'Add Friend', you'll see a few options. The most common one, especially when sharing codes online, is 'Search with Friend Code'. Just type in your friend's 12-digit code there, hit send, and they'll get a friend request from you. It's really that simple! I've also discovered you can add friends a couple of other ways. If you're physically close to someone, you can use 'Search for Local Users' to find people nearby. And if you've had a great multiplayer match with a random player online, you can often find them under 'Search for Users You've Played With' – it's a neat way to keep gaming with people whose playstyle you enjoy!
