3 of my favorite restaurants in Budapest
Three of my favorite and vegetarian-friendly restaurants I visited in Budapest
1. 0,75 Bistro
📍Location: right by St. Stephen’s Basilica
Thoughts: suchhhh good food, and try the orange cinnamon hot chocolate
Overall rating: 5/5
Price: $$
2. Cat Café Budapest
📍Location: also near the Basilica
Thoughts: I loved that this is a more chill cat cafe where they ask you not to disturb the cats if they’re sleeping, and you only pay for what you order, not for the time you spend there. The food and coffee were good too! It does get busy so maybe get there early.
Overall rating: 5/5
Price: $
3. Szabad Bistro
📍Location: a bit farther out from the city center, so consider taking the bus
Thoughts: great vegan Hungarian food, a more local community vibe, and it’s pet-friendly so people bring their dogs! Plus they have huge portions. If I went again I’d try the beer.
Overall rating: 4/5
Price: $
