BOOK BINGO

Hey fellow bookworms! I just wanted to share about my latest reading adventure – a super fun book bingo challenge! If you haven't tried it before, it's essentially a 5x5 grid (just like a regular bingo card!) where each square has a different reading prompt or category. The goal is to fill a row, column, or even the whole card by reading books that fit those categories. It’s been such a fantastic way to break out of my usual genres and discover new favorites, making my reading journey even more exciting and purposeful. I’ve been making good progress on my own book bingo card, and it's been so satisfying to mark off squares! For example, I've already tackled some incredible reads, like the classic '1984' for a dystopian novel square and the heartwarming 'Remarkably Bright Creatures' for something entirely different, perhaps a book with an animal character or a feel-good story. There's also 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz' which was a powerful read that definitely fit a specific historical fiction prompt. Having a 'FREE SPACE' square is always a lifesaver when you're stuck, giving you a little breathing room! But now I'm at a point where I need some fresh inspiration for my remaining squares. Some of these prompts are tough, and I'm really looking for unique book bingo ideas to complete my challenge. If you're thinking of starting your own book bingo, I highly recommend it! These diverse prompts ensure you're always exploring new literary landscapes. Since 'dystopian novels reading challenge' is a popular idea, you could dedicate a few squares to this genre. Think about prompts like 'a classic dystopian novel,' 'a modern dystopian novel,' 'a dystopian novel by a female author,' 'a dystopian novel with a hopeful ending,' or 'a dystopian novel that features technological advancement.' Another twist could be a 'bookstore bingo,' where squares might involve buying a book from an indie store, attending an author event, or finding a specific genre.
