Hey guys! It’s been awhile!
I’ve picked up a new Bible, the illustrating Bible. (Which I loveeeee) and this new study from the daily grace company.
Life has been life’n lately, which unfortunately I’m sure most of us can relate. I’ve been struggling with thoughts of suicide and just thoughts of feeling unworthy and so alone. How is that even possible when I’m blessed with 5 busy children who fill my heart with laughter daily. I know it sounds crazy, but like I said life has been life’n and that sneaky devil will come in and convince you that you are alone even when you are surrounded by people who love you- and even if you aren’t surrounded by kids, family or friends you’re surrounded by God. Know that.
Anyways- as I started this study It referenced Hebrews 4:15-16. “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin”
And this made me cryyyyyy out. Do you know what this means?! When we feel alone and state that no one understands us- that is a lie from the enemy because we have Jesus who has endured EVERYTHING. there is NOTHING that we carry that Jesus hasn’t already carried and he carried it without sin. He gets it, so give it to him.
I pray that in those dark moments when you feel alone, that you understand you are not alone. Stop reaching out to people who simply don’t get it, but talk to the one who does!!
