My body is a temple
Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body.
As a Christian, everything we do should glorify God. That includes the way we dress. I know modesty is something that looks differently for everyone. However, the deeper our relationship gets with God, the more he will reveal to you on this subject.
I remember growing up thinking I needed to wear tight clothing or reveal a little cleavage to feel beautiful. I quickly realized that I was drawing the wrong attention to myself. If the way we bring glory to God Is by revealing our self then we have a bigger problem.
God tells us our bodies are temples.
Just think about a temple, and how sacred they really are. You realize how everyone and everybody did not just have access to the temple. The more you understand what God is trying to tell us about our body ’s you began to have a deeper understanding how you present yourself.
When you realize that your body is apart of Gods body you realize how everything you do should be glorifying him. How is showing cleavage glorifying God? How is wearing revealing clothing glorifying God?
the more I tap into my naturalness I began to understand how beautiful I truly am. I am beautiful just the way God made me. The closer I get to him the brighter I glow. And the same will apply to you. 🌟✨

The idea that our bodies are temples stems from a Biblical perspective, emphasizing the importance of glorifying God in all aspects of our lives, including our physical appearance. As believers, we are encouraged to reflect on how our choices—in fashion, behavior, and overall lifestyle—align with this sacred truth. Modesty, often subjective, becomes a personal journey of understanding and conviction. It’s not merely about clothing choices but about the intent behind those choices and what they communicate to the world. Many Christians have struggled with societal pressures that promote revealing attire as a standard of beauty. However, embracing one’s natural beauty in a way that honors God can lead to a more profound self-acceptance and respect for oneself. This understanding draws us closer to our spiritual essence and how we present ourselves in daily life. Remember that modesty can also reflect confidence and self-value, recognizing that beauty emanates from within, guided by our faith. By adopting a perspective that treats our bodies as sacred vessels, we align ourselves with the belief that our existence has purpose, empowering us to make choices that honor both ourselves and God.
