Girl, love yourself ♥️
God saw ALL that he had made, and it was VERY good indeed. (Genesis 1:31)
when we read this, it is referencing Gods creation.
Nowhere in this creation story do you see where God was unsatisfied with anything he had made. After everything God spoke into existence was the statement, “ and God saw that it was good”
as we get to the creation of man, scripture says he creates us in the image of God.
knowing this information should make you love every detail of yourself so much more. God was intentional in his creations. He was intentional when he created YOU. There is NOTHING about you that is not good. Understand that everything God created was good and that includes you.
Stop comparing yourself to what the world defines as beauty and start comparing yourself to what the WORD of God defines as beauty. ♥️

Hey beautiful souls! I wanted to dive a little deeper into what it truly means to put 'all my hope on God' when it comes to our self-worth. It's one thing to read that God made us good, but it's another to live it every single day, right? I remember a time when my hope was all over the place – in how many likes I got, in fitting into a certain dress size, or in what others thought of me. It was exhausting! That's when I really started to grasp the profound truth from Genesis: 'AND GOD SAW THAT IT WAS good.' Not good if you were perfect, or good if you met certain standards, but simply *good*. He literally looked at His creation, including you and me, and declared it flawless in His sight. So, how do we practically shift 'all my hope on God' and away from those sneaky worldly comparisons? For me, it started with daily intentionality. I began by soaking in scriptures that spoke about God’s love and my identity in Christ. When the world tells you you’re not enough, remind yourself of His word. Verses like Psalm 139:14, 'I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made,' became my anchors. Another huge game-changer has been prayer. Instead of just asking for things, I started spending time just thanking God for how He made me – even the parts I used to criticize. It’s like a conversation where you’re affirming His incredible artistry. When you genuinely put 'all my hope on God,' you begin to see yourself through His eyes, not through the filtered lens of social media or society. It also means leaning on a supportive Christian community. Sharing these struggles with friends who uplift you in faith can make all the difference. They remind you of God's truth when you forget it. They help you remember that your hope isn't contingent on your performance or appearance, but on His unchanging character and love. This journey isn't about instant perfection. It's a daily choice to place your hope in something sturdy and eternal. It's realizing that even on days you feel less than, 'AND GOD SAW THAT IT WAS good' still applies to you. His grace covers our imperfections and empowers us to love ourselves, not out of arrogance, but out of gratitude for His incredible design. When all your hope is truly on God, self-love isn't just a fleeting feeling; it's a deep, abiding peace knowing you are cherished, valued, and wonderfully made. Keep shining, girls!
