New beginnings, it’s ok to start over.
This is a picture of my new home. My new peace. A safe space that I created for me and my 5 children to call home ♥️. Walking away from my marriage of 6 years has been the hardest decision I have ever had to make, but seeing the calm in the chaos is worth it. God has been with me every step of the way. Change can be scary, but sometimes it’s necessary. I know the journey ahead is a long one but at least I’m walking with someone who will never leave or forsake me. 😏🤞🏽♥️

Starting over, especially with children, can feel utterly overwhelming. But like I shared in my story, it’s also an incredible opportunity for a 'grand rising' – a true rebirth into a life that's authentically yours. When I first stepped into my new home, it was more than just four walls; it was a blank canvas for peace. I focused on creating a space that felt like a hug, just like our cozy living room with its green sofa and patterned pillows. That wall sign, 'they call it chaos WE CALL IT FAMILY,' truly captures the spirit of our new beginning. It’s about embracing the beautiful mess and finding joy in it. For any of you out there contemplating or navigating a similar journey, remember that establishing your physical and emotional safe space is paramount. Don’t underestimate the power of small details, like choosing wooden flooring that feels warm underfoot or a black metal shelf to display cherished memories. These little touches help transform a house into a sanctuary. Beyond the physical space, nurturing your inner peace is crucial. For me, my faith was my anchor. It gave me strength when I felt most vulnerable. Finding a community, whether through spiritual groups, support networks, or trusted friends, can provide invaluable emotional support. You don't have to walk this path alone. Share your struggles and triumphs; you'll be surprised how many others are on a similar journey. Practically speaking, creating a new life involves a lot of planning. As a single mom, budgeting became my new best friend! Understanding your finances, seeking out resources for single-parent households, and even just setting small, achievable goals can make a huge difference. Don't be afraid to ask for help or look into programs that can assist with housing or childcare. Every little bit of support helps build a stable foundation. Self-care often feels like a luxury when you're managing so much, but it's essential for your well-being and, by extension, your children's. Even 15 minutes of quiet time, a warm cup of coffee, or listening to uplifting music can help reset your mind. Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup. Prioritize your mental and emotional health. Embracing new routines can also bring a sense of stability. It might feel strange at first, but establishing new family traditions or daily rhythms can help everyone adjust and feel secure in their new environment. This journey of starting over isn't just about surviving; it's about thriving. It’s about building a foundation of strength, love, and resilience. Every day is a new opportunity to rise, to find the calm in your chaos, and to build the beautiful life you and your children deserve. It's truly a grand rising to your best self.

always good for a new start good luck!
