Honest Elf Setting Spray Review

🛍Brand: E.L.F

I absolutely love elf and most all of their products. This product for me was no different. I do have a bit of oily skin!

•My first impression was kinda odd, it was very shockingly such a fine mist. I have never had a setting spray that sprayed that finely.

•The first pic is right after my last spray. I did 2 sprays, one after cream products and one after I was completely done.

•The second pic is after walking around a Zoo being outdoors for 3 hours. I got back home and was surprised to see that it did not look much different.

•The last pic is at the end of the night probably at least 10 hours post makeup. I had ate dinner and spent the evening outdoors and watching tv.

•My over all thoughts is that it did what I needed it to. I felt as if it is one of the better setting sprays I’ve used. However I do also use the Power Grip Primer and that is my holy grail product and always looks nice. So I feel as if the setting spray is an added bonus.

Lastly, 10 dollars isn’t bad for a setting spray. If you love Elf and are looking for a new setting spray, I would recommend!

⭐️Overall rating: 5/5

... Read moreHey beauties! As someone who's always on the hunt for amazing makeup that doesn't break the bank, especially what's trending on TikTok, I totally get wanting to find those gems. E.L.F. is definitely one of those brands that consistently delivers, and their Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray is a perfect example. We've talked about its incredible performance, but let's chat about where you can snag these affordable finds and why they're such great value, especially if you're in your late teens or early twenties looking to experiment. When it comes to purchasing setting sprays and powders, you want convenience, good prices, and sometimes even rewards programs. Here are a few spots I've found to be fantastic for value and selection: 1. Target: Pros: Target is my go-to for E.L.F. products! They almost always have the full range, including the Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray and other essentials. Their prices are competitive, and with the Target RedCard, you get an extra 5% off, plus free shipping. They also have a great selection of other affordable brands like Milani, NYX, and Wet n Wild. Plus, it’s easy to browse in-store and check out the products physically. Cons: Sometimes popular items can be out of stock, especially viral TikTok sensations. Online stock can vary. 2. Ulta Beauty: Pros: Ulta offers a fantastic mix of drugstore and high-end brands, making it a one-stop shop. They carry E.L.F., and I often find great deals or "Buy One Get One" offers on drugstore brands. Their Ultamate Rewards program is excellent – you earn points on every purchase that can be redeemed for future savings. They also have a wide variety of setting powders, from E.L.F. to more premium options, allowing you to compare. Cons: While they have sales, some items might be slightly pricier than at a general retailer like Target if not on promotion. 3. Walmart: Pros: Walmart often has the absolute lowest prices on E.L.F. and other drugstore makeup brands. If you're purely price-driven, this is a strong contender. They also have a good online selection. Cons: In-store selection can be less organized or extensive compared to Target or Ulta, depending on the location. Customer service for beauty might be less specialized. 4. E.L.F. Cosmetics Official Website: Pros: Shopping directly from E.L.F. ensures you get the freshest products and access to exclusive bundles or new releases first. They often have sales, free shipping minimums, and sometimes loyalty programs. It's a great way to explore their entire product line, from setting sprays with that amazing fine mist to their popular setting powders that provide an incredible makeup grip. Cons: You're limited to just E.L.F. products, so if you're looking to compare across brands or pick up other essentials, you'll need to shop elsewhere. When choosing a setting spray, I always look for one that gives my makeup that long-lasting, event-proof finish, especially for those long days out. The Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray truly excels here. And for powders, I recommend looking for finely milled formulas that won't cake, helping to lock everything in even further. Pairing a good setting spray with a complementary powder is key for achieving that flawless, long-wear look. Remember, a great beauty routine doesn't have to break your budget, especially with amazing brands like E.L.F. making quality accessible!
