Envy is making you ugly and here’s why

This will take some honest self-reflection, and it will only reach the people who are emotionally aware and open to becoming a better person for the
relationships in their life. Leave denial at the door.
As someone who has dealt with anxiety my whole life, I used to be a huge people pleaser.
It took me being pushed past my breaking point in toxic co-dependent relationships so many times for me to finally realize that people pleasing was getting me no where. I was sick of being taken advantage of.
You see it takes two to tango; one envious person, and one person who also has no concept of self worth to believe what the envious person says.
My point is that; now that I’ve removed myself from these relationships, I’ve grown and learned a lot more about trusting MYSELF…
I’ve also become very sensitive to envious people. 90% of communication is non-verbal, so when I start seeing the subtle clues like the ones that I listed in slide 2, I know to distance myself.
But let’s get to the main point: envy makes you UGLY.
And here’s why:
1. Your passive aggressive, back handed compliments that you think are “funny” are actually your biggest reveal. All it shows is that something about that person succeeding triggers you so much that you need to make it clear to them.
2. Your constant comparison is leading you to have a lower self esteem and lack of ability to trust your own decisions. This will also reflect in your relationships; constantly asking for advice or trying to make your friends look or feel worse than you.
3. When you copy other people (especially after being passive aggressive or giving backhanded compliments) is physically and emotionally damaging. You will probably end up looking worse because you are doing things that don’t suit YOU personally just because it looks good on other people, and you are creating internal dissonance within yourself because deep down you envy the person you are copying. This will also cause conflict and distance in your relationships.
Please please do me one favour after reading this and start trusting YOURSELF more.
Do shadow work and find things that make you feel like YOU.
It will feel scary at first, but once you start trusting your intuition more and doing what feels best for YOU, it will become second nature💕

When you're consumed by discontent or resentment for what someone else possesses (as the OCR defined envy), it leaves little room for joy or authenticity. This constant comparison, also listed as a form of envy in the OCR, erodes our own 'jealousy beauty' from the inside. Think about the 'forms of envy' the OCR mentioned: passive aggressive remarks, backhanded compliments, copying. I've been on both sides. Those backhanded compliments? They’re like little emotional jabs. And copying someone? It feels like you're trying to wear a skin that isn't yours, leading to internal dissonance and a loss of your unique sparkle. Recognizing these 'subtle clues' is key. If you're wondering 'how to tell if someone is jealous of your looks' or achievements, look for those subtle shifts in body language, the micro-expressions, the quick dismissal of your good news, or the sudden pivot to their own 'better' story.
