Speaking of activities, the IceHotel offers so much more than just a place to sleep. We went husky sledding through the snowy wilderness – an exhilarating adventure! Imagine gliding silently through untouched snow, pulled by a team of enthusiastic dogs. It's unforgettable. In the evenings, we tried our luck spotting the Northern Lights, and the clear skies around Jukkasjärvi make it an excellent location. A few practical tips from my trip: Dress in layers, warm thermal underwear is a must, even for just visiting the IceBar. They provide warm overalls for activities, which are super helpful. Book your activities in advance, especially during peak season. And don't forget your camera – you'll want to capture every stunning detail, from the illuminated ice pillars to the impressive intricately sculpted ice tree.
