Buddy Reading with my Fiancé
📚The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
💙We are 31% of the way through this book, and we are really enjoying it. The entire concept of this Library between life and death has got us hooked. The main character who we are following as she goes through each of her regrets in life we are definitely growing a connection with. She and her life are imperfect; full of regrets and "what if's" just like everyone else's, even if it doesn't look like it to other's eyes or through social media. Going on this journey with the main character is a bittersweet experience.
💙We read a lot of books together or right after one another, but this is the first time we've both had a copy and are using the storygraph buddy read feature.
I started using Storygraph at the beginning of this year because people swore by it being a better good reads. So far, I can say the buddy reads feature already makes downloading it worth it. Seeing where each other is at and being able to put in comments about specific pages that the other can't see until they reach that page has made buddy reading super fun. Do you use GoodReads, Storygraph, another book tracking app, or a combination?
