I Got 12 Books for $26😮📚
It was my library's annual summer block party! In addition to food, vendors and registration for the summer reading program they do a big book sale. While the prices are slightly higher than the book sale they usually do it is still such a great deal! I got 12 books for $26! The Goosebumps are going to be such a fun read during the upcoming fall months. Every time we go to a sale like this we search for any Rick Riordan we don't have in our collection. The House of Salt and Sorrows seems so good! I love a good gothic horror. Never Lie was a Frieda McFadden I didn't have already and for that price who could pass it up!
I may sound like a broken record at this point but if you love books and believe everyone should have access to them it is SO important to support your libraries. The money libraries make from events like a book sale goes back into the library. It's used to buy more books and fund all the amazing programming they do. Go check out your local library. Go get a library card. People talk about not having a "third space" well the library is mine and it could be yours too.
