Slow Mornings🍂🐦📷
My favorite way to spend the morning is bird watching, reading/crocheting, and drinking coffee on the porch with the dogs. Ever since buying our first place I have really amped up the bird watching lol. I saw so many birds for the first time that I never saw in the city or even knew existed. Today I've spotted 2 hawks, catbirds, a white breasted nut hatch, bluejays, some squirrels, and a chipmunk. The humming birds have left for the year so their feeders have been replaced with different types. I offically have 6 different feeders and lots of watering stations for all the critters. The bird watering stations arent super popular, probably because of the creek on our property, but they do get some use. The pollinators love all theirs and I've seen a toad or 2 over in their spot as well.The leaves are changing, pinecones are falling, and I offically am wearing a sweater. I am so in love with our life.❤️
This post is different than everything else I post. I normally only post bookish content but I would love to sprinkle some of me in there too! I have been super into making sure I'm saving memories whether that be scrapbooking or seasonal digital albums. I love the diary aspect of lemon8 so I want to use it in that way as well💕
🥰same. I love retirement and birds. All gods creatures really. I’ve still got hummers. Less for sure. More travelers stopping to fill up on flowers and feeders. Im in the corner of NE TEXAS. The last of my hummers ive documented at Oct 13. Ill miss them but my migratory birds should be arriving soon
