My October watchlist
These are the moves I hope to watch in October. I don’t have to watch all of them though. Last year I made my self watch all of the movies on my list, and I think I’d have more fun if I don’t do that so that’s not what I’m doing. I might watch all maybe just some, but I will be posting about the movies i watch on here, and on Letterboxd. These are all movies I have not seen by the way.
October is the perfect month for horror movie enthusiasts to indulge in chilling classics and new releases. This year, consider including iconic films like 'Night of the Creeps' and 'Poltergeist II' in your watchlist. The thrill of horror films is not just in the scare factor but also in the storytelling and unique artistry behind each production. For those looking for contemporary scares, titles like 'Megan is Missing' and 'Happy Death Day' showcase how modern cinema interprets frightful themes. Don't overlook indie horror gems that create a suspenseful atmosphere with smaller budgets. Interacting with fellow horror fans on platforms like Letterboxd can enhance your viewing experience. Sharing insights and reactions post-movie adds depth to the anticipation of what’s next on your list. Also, remember to check out upcoming horror film festivals this October for limited screenings and fan engagement. Lastly, create your own unique Halloween tradition by organizing movie marathons featuring various themes, like creature features or psychological thrillers! Plan a fright night that captivates friends and family, ensuring everyone gets to experience the terror and excitement of horror cinema.
