INFINITE AURA READING 🔴

It's seriously a game-changer, especially for making those tough solo queue matches way more manageable. Knowing exactly where the killer is at almost all times feels incredibly powerful, and honestly, it can be a huge stress reliever when you're trying to outplay them. I've had so much fun with it, predicting their movements and setting up amazing saves or escapes. But let's be real, while we survivors are loving seeing them, the killers on the other end are probably pulling their hair out! So, what happens when killers realize what you're up to? They're not just going to let you have infinite aura reading without a fight! As a survivor who loves this build, I've also spent time thinking about how killers try to counter it, and knowing their strategies can actually make you even better at using this combo. One of the main things killers might do is try to gain the 'Undetectable' status. Perks like Tinkerer (which makes them Undetectable when a generator reaches 70%) or Trail of Torment (after kicking a gen) can temporarily hide their aura and terror radius. If they have perks like Hex: Plaything, you might lose your Object of Obsession benefits if you're cursed. When a killer goes Undetectable, your aura reading goes dark, which can be a bit jarring. This is where relying on sound cues and environmental awareness becomes crucial again. Also, some killers, like Ghost Face or Wraith, have built-in stealth abilities that directly counter aura reading. They can approach silently, and suddenly, your 'infinite' vision isn't quite so endless. Another killer strategy is to simply ignore you or try to bait you. If they see your aura constantly, they might use that information against *you*. They could pretend to chase someone else, then loop back for a surprise attack, or even just avoid your general area entirely if they know you're equipped to track them. Good killers will try to mind-game you, especially if you're using Object of Obsession which also reveals your aura to *them*. They know where you are, too, so it becomes a chess match. They might use their own aura perks like Lethal Pursuer to find you faster at the start, or I'm All Ears to see your aura when you fast vault during a chase. Beyond my favorite combo, there are other fantastic aura-reading perks for survivors that can bring different kinds of value. For example, Kindred is a must-have for solo queue, letting you see other survivors' auras when someone is hooked, and the killer's aura if they're near the hook. Bond lets you see allies within a certain range, which is great for coordinating healing or gen repairs. Empathy is similar but for injured survivors across the entire map – super useful for knowing when to go for a save or where danger is. And if you want to extend the range of aura-reading perks like Bond or Kindred, Open-Handed is a lesser-used but powerful perk. Windows of Opportunity, while not showing killer auras, is vital for seeing pallets and vault locations, which indirectly helps you avoid the killer. To really get the most out of our Infinite Aura Reading build, remember to stay somewhat within 16 meters of the killer after your Mettle of Man is active if you want them to see your aura and trigger Object of Obsession. Also, use that Medkit you brought to quickly heal up after taking protection hits. If you're in an SWF, communicate what you're seeing! 'Killer is coming to mid gen!' or 'He's going for a hook save!' can be game-winning calls. And even with infinite aura reading, don't get too cocky! Killers can still surprise you, especially with perks that put you into Deep Wound or other status effects. The goal is information, not invincibility. Ultimately, this build is about having fun and giving yourself an edge. Experiment with it, learn how killers react, and adapt your playstyle. It's truly rewarding when you can outsmart the killer using their own visibility against them!
