Hoya endauensis คือผลงานชิ้นเอกของธรรมชาติที่หาชมได้ยาก เป็นไม้ถิ่นเดียว (endemic) ของคาบสมุทรมาเลเซีย โดยเฉพาะในรัฐยะโฮร์ ซึ่งเติบโตเกาะตามต้นไม้เลียบลำธารและแม่น้ำ ภายในผืนป่าดิบชื้นที่หนาแน่น มืดชอุ่ม และอบอวลด้วยไอหมอกเขตร้อน
