Trump says he is considering sending $1,000 to $2,000 tariff stimulus checks to Americans.

According to the report, the payments would act as a “dividend to the people” and be funded by tariff-generated revenues.

Earlier this year, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) also floated the idea of $5,000 stimulus payments from federal cost savings, but it never materialized.
