Project pan 2026 empties and rebuy opinions (Jan.)
These are the products that I’ve gone through this past month. Happy to see some progress no matter how small.

In my ongoing journey with Project Pan 2026, I’ve found that documenting product empties helps me understand my preferences and consumption habits better each month. For January, I noticed notable differences in my haircare experiences. For instance, the Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Silicone-Free Detangler combined with Aloe Extract worked well for clean, soft hair but felt heavy and stringy on my waves, making me hesitant to repurchase. It’s a reminder that even products designed for a gentle touch can impact hair textures differently. Gifted items, like the Remede Rudy’s Aloe product, provided months of use but ultimately didn’t fit into my routine due to heaviness on my hair. This highlights the importance of product compatibility with your hair type—what works for one may not for another. I also enjoyed travel-friendly items like the Fleur de Solaire Eau de Parfum. It made vacation packing convenient and, although the scent was floral and pleasant, it didn’t quite capture my heart enough for rebuying after the bottle ran out. Similarly, the PocketBac Frosted Coconut Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel became a family favorite during trips, proving that small, portable hygiene products can be game changers when on the go. One interesting aspect of my project pan is dealing with half-used or 'forgotten' products like the Alin + Goet hair oil. I found many of these as I organized my collection, which underscores the value of simplifying and focusing efforts on truly beloved and beneficial products. Ultimately, this practice of tracking empties doesn’t just help declutter but encourages mindful consumption. It’s empowering to see progress, regardless of how small, and to make informed decisions on which products to repurchase based on real usage rather than impulse. If you’re considering a similar project, I recommend keeping notes on how each product feels during use and how it fits your lifestyle — it’s a key step toward a more intentional beauty routine.
