💫The Story Behind My Son’s Name💫

When I was 10 years old, I watched Ferris Bueller’s Day Off for the first time. While everyone else was obsessed with Ferris, it was his best friend that caught my heart — Cameron.

He was loyal, thoughtful, and real. I remember saying out loud, “One day, I’m going to have a son and name him Cameron.”

Years later, I did. ❤️

And he lived up to that name in every way. Gentle, deep-thinking, funny, and full of love.

Cameron passed away ten years ago at just twenty years old from an overdose. Losing him changed me forever. But when I hear his name, I still feel that spark from when I was a little girl. The hope, the love, and the promise that someday I’d have a Cameron of my own.
