Seafood Gumbo is a must on Christmas!

This Christmas day Chris and I kept it simple. We made a small batch of seafood gumbo just for us. We weren’t invited to go anywhere for Christmas which has been the norm since both my parents died. We enjoyed cooking this gumbo together and a simple low key chilled day with each other. Seafood gumbo was one of my dads specialties and he always cooked it on Christmas Eve.
