My Day As A Student Worker 📚
Happy summer! Here is what my day looks like when I’m working at the library on my college campus. I work at the circulation desk where I help patrons check out books and reserve study rooms. My supervisor is kind enough to make coffee in the morning whenever I forget to make myself one at home.
Sitting on a chair for hours can be exhausting and boring, but I am grateful to work on other things to pass the time. I also like to read a book while I’m at the desk.
On my lunch break, I like to continue on my homework near a window with lighting. This was during my summer online class on cultural anthropology.
I re-shelve books by the Library of Congress classifications. It is my favorite part about working in the library because it’s quiet and I love organizing.
