COME WITH ME part 5: MIDSOMMARFEST IN CHICAGO🇸🇪

I spent the weekend soaking up sunshine, Swedish culture, and queer joy at Andersonville Midsommarfest 2025! 💐🌈

Kicked off the day with coffee and a sweet pastry from the Swedish American Museum café ☕🍰 before joining the crowd dancing around the Maypole—I even received a mini Swedish flag and had a heartwarming moment when a little girl gave me a bracelet that says “happy” 💛

I sampled some tasty drinks like The Long Drink, Revolution Brewing, and Mom Water (which had a charm bracelet station—yes, I added fruit charms! 🍓🍋🍊)

I then met up with my friends for a cozy lunch at Colectivo Coffee Andersonville before exploring the fest. We found the State Farm Bobblehead YOU! booth, and I got turned into a superhero bobblehead 🦸‍♀️

Later in the evening, we followed the sound of punk music and discovered Bev Rage and the Drinks, now proudly saved to my Spotify playlist 🎶.

This fest was the perfect celebration of friendship, love, queer pride, and Swedish heritage. Can’t wait to go again next year! 💖🌈🇸🇪
