I love love love going to drag shows, watching RPDR and Dragula so you can say I’m a fan ;) I went to a drag tour of Madrid on Sunday that started at 3 pm and went to 4 different venues and had 12 different drag artists! It was so much fun!!! There was one drag king and his was my favorite performance. One thing I had never seen before at a drag show was magic! The queen in this video did a magic trick and showed us how it was done while fooling us with another trick! She is a multitalented performer and can sing and dance as well! I’ve noticed in Spain that there are more drag artists that actually sing and are really good which is wonderful.
👍Pros: I love learning about Spanish culture and seeing drag artists from all over the country I have learned a lot and also have improved my colloquial Spanish.
Such a welcoming environment, great music and dancing.
Since it started early it ended at 9 pm and I had plenty of time to go home and rest.
🤔Cons: being in a bar means spending money on drinks alcohol or otherwise.
