Quick and easy Wakame salad

I bought this pack of seaweed at the Asian grocery store. To make a wakame salad first I soaked 50 grams or 1.7 oz in water for 10 minutes. While that soaked I mixed 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tsp fresh ginger and garlic, and a 1/4 tsp of chili flakes. Once the wakame became softened I drained and rinsed them and squeezed any remaining water out. I mixed the soy seasoning and added 1 tsp of toasted white and black sesame seeds.

It’s best to let it rest in the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour. This was a nice addition to go along with sushi or soup.
