The Story You never expected

They thought they knew me from the cover,

Just another tale like all the others.

But the ink runs deeper than you’ll ever see,

Whole worlds are hidden inside of me.

They skimmed the lines, but missed the truth,

Every chapter is a written proof.

You can’t define what you can’t collect,

I’m not the ending that you expect.

I am the pages you never read,

The voice still echoing in your head.

I am the fire, the unspoken thread,

I am the story you never expected.

More than a whisper, more than a scar,

I’m the constellation you missed in the dark.

Your version of me was paper thin,

But my soul can’t fit in the box you’re in.

I’ve got chapters carved in thunder and rain,

Every heartbreak taught me how to reign.

I’ll bleed my truth in black and gold,

Every word too strong to hold.

Turn the page, my soul’s electric,

I’m the story you never expected.

So don’t reduce me to your lines,

I’m not confined by your design.

This ink is mine, my truth protected

A living story, unexpected.

I am the pages you never read,

A wild beginning with no end.

I am the storm they can’t forget,

I am the story you'd never expect.

More than the silence, more than the pain,

I rise like a phoenix through the flame.

I am the pages you never read,

I am the story that sticks in your head.
