One of my very favorite family members MADE this faux fireplace!
Several years ago I was lucky enough to have it land in my space. I love it so much!
I am a renter for life and the white/cream/off white color just…well when I put it against the rental white wall…*sigh
I dress it up with a fake hearth and logs and all of the things, but still…something was missing. I decided to go bold with this color (well…bold for ME). I absolutely LOVE how it turned out.
The paint is Clark + Kensington Beau Green. For the decals I used just a Rustoleum metallic finish spray paint in copper.
My brilliant son talked me into using a tiny makeup brush to apply the copper.
I left the wood grain lid alone. I think it stands out nicely. It’s on a hinge, so there’s a secret compartment :)
