4 Products for Glowy Makeup
Honesty Hour: Can I be real with yall?
[adding 4 more makeup products to my summer makeup routine to achieve the ultimate glow 😍]
Today I just wanted to say that I helped a girl at Walgreens today. She was going on her first date with this guy she’s been talking to and was completely nervous about makeup because it seemed like he was taking her somewhere high end. Was so proud of myself when I guided her through budget friendly options and high end options which she would’ve had to have gone to ulta or Sephora.
She was really loving my makeup and was so surprised when I told her I had no foundation or lashes on 😭she almost fainted. But I advised her to put on foundation because I had no idea what kind of lighting or place this was going to be.
Both of us almost cried in there when I had her leaving with only 6 products to complete her glowy look. This was huge for me. Few weeks ago I did my mother in laws makeup for a wedding and when she loved it I almost cried. I used to not know what I was doing. I’m a fashion and beauty photographer but never went too much with makeup because I didn’t know how and the more makeup on my face the less confident I was. I used to cry into the mirror for hours.
Last year, I decided I wanted a change. I wanted to start getting up and doing my makeup, doing different hairstyles and trying different things in general. Learning how to do my makeup was literally one of the best decisions I could’ve made and being able to help other people boost their confidence has really been a game changer for me. I’ve always been big on skincare because of my lack of knowledge of makeup and always took care of my skin. To not only be able to recommend products based on peoples skin types and issue but now makeup based on how it will look on different skin types.
I’ve been blessed to receive so much makeup pr from brands that I’ve literally been trying so much products to know what does and doesn’t work. I’m manifesting that I keep on this journey and that more brands send me stuff so I could keep helping the girls like me who didn’t know and just want to learn.
I’m here to tell you you can 🥰

Achieving a glowy makeup look is all about selecting the right products and techniques. Here are some essential tips to enhance your glowing makeup routine: 1. **Skincare First**: Always begin with a solid skincare routine. Hydrating your skin will provide a dewy base for makeup application. Incorporate products like a hydrating primer or a facial mist to prep your skin. 2. **Glow-Enhancing Products**: Utilize products specifically designed for a luminous finish. Cream blushes, like those mentioned from Wet n Wild and L'Oreal, add both color and shine, providing a radiant touch to your cheeks. 3. **Highlight Strategically**: Highlighters can significantly amplify your glow. Apply them to the high points of your face: the cheekbones, brow bones, and down the bridge of your nose. Opt for liquid highlighters for a more natural and blended glow. 4. **Experiment with Textures**: Mixing different textures can achieve a unique glow. Combine matte foundations with luminous blushes or highlighters to balance shine without becoming overly oily. 5. **Stay Hydrated**: Keep your skin healthy and plump by drinking plenty of water and using hydrating products, including moisturizers and setting sprays that promote longevity and freshness. 6. **Adapt to Lighting**: Always consider the lighting conditions of your environment. What looks good in natural light might differ from dim lighting, so experiment with different products to find what works best for you in various settings. By incorporating these strategies alongside the recommended products, you will not only look glowy but also feel confident and radiant.
