Dark Icy Eye Makeup
wanted to do something a bit more dark for the icy eye makeup trend and I have to say I might like black ice/ dark ice aesthetic better 😍
I completed this look using morphes 18ct matte essentials, which is an old palette but they have these shades in other mini palettes that they put out throughout the year.
Let me know in the comments if you would try this eye makeup look.

The dark icy eye makeup trend is a captivating twist on the popular icy eye look, adding a dramatic, edgy vibe with deeper tones like black and charcoal. Using palettes like Morphe’s 18CT Matte Essentials is an excellent choice for achieving this effect, as it offers a versatile range of matte shades that blend seamlessly. To start, prep your eyelids with a primer to ensure longevity and vibrancy of your shadows. Begin by applying a neutral base shade all over the lid, which helps with blending. Next, take a deep black or charcoal shade from your palette and apply it to the outer corner and crease, gradually building intensity for that dark icy effect. To keep the look icy and fresh rather than heavy, softly blend the edges and introduce cooler-toned shades like silvers or icy blues toward the center of the lid, adding dimension and shimmer. To finish, consider lining your eyes with a black liner and adding volumizing mascara or false lashes to enhance the dramatic effect. This makeup look suits evening events or whenever you want to channel a bold, gothic-inspired aesthetic. Sharing your creation on platforms like #lemon8beauty can inspire others, and experimenting with different shades from updated mini Morphe palettes throughout the year keeps the look fresh and customizable. Would you try this dark icy eye makeup look? It’s a fantastic way to reinvent traditional icy eye trends with a fierce twist that stands out beautifully.
