Simple Daily Skincare For Beginners

This is my daily daytime skincare routine after I wash my face.

✨For best results:

• steam face prior to open pores

• double cleanse with a cleansing oil ( I do this 3-5x a week depending on how many times I wore makeup that week)

• exfoliate (every other or every two days, you don’t want to disrupt your skins barrier)

• face wash

📺 What’s on the screen:

• ice water to close pores, get rid of any puffiness & tightens skin

• hyaluronic acid for glowing, hydrated skin

• soybean milk serum to strengthen skins barrier + boosts elasticity

• bean cream to moisturize and keep hydrated

• bean sunscreen to protect you from the sun

I've found that steaming the face before cleansing not only opens up the pores but also enhances product absorption later on. Using a cleansing oil as the first step, especially if you wear makeup, gently removes impurities without stripping your skin's natural oils. I personally double cleanse around 3-5 times a week, depending on how often I wear makeup, which keeps my skin feeling fresh without overdoing it. Exfoliation is another important step, but it’s essential not to exfoliate daily as this can harm the skin barrier. I recommend exfoliating every other day or every two days to remove dead skin cells and promote cell turnover while preserving skin health. After cleansing, ice water works wonders to close pores and reduce puffiness; it’s a refreshing way to tighten the skin and improve circulation. Hydration is fundamental for a healthy complexion. Hyaluronic acid is my go-to for adding moisture and a radiant glow, making my skin look plump and dewy. Adding a serum with ingredients like soybean milk helps strengthen the skin barrier and boost elasticity, which is especially helpful for those starting a skincare routine who want long-term benefits. For moisturizing, bean cream is light yet effective at locking in hydration throughout the day without feeling heavy or greasy. Finally, don’t forget sunscreen—even on cloudy days, it protects against harmful UV rays and prevents premature aging. By following this simple but effective routine daily, I noticed my skin became clearer, more elastic, and well-protected, making skincare manageable and enjoyable for beginners.
