Tried and True: Skincare Routine

Ever had a skincare routine you loved so much that it had to become a seasonal must have?

These are my 3 skincare products by Dermalogica that got used up the most this winter🥹:

- Dermalogica precleanse is just as good as my Elemis balm..and nothing is as good as my Elemis balm. Great to take off tough makeup especially waterproof mascara and it doesn’t leave your face too oily. This would probably be my only con is that it did leave my face a bit oily.

- The brightening exfoliant is a must have in your arsenal year round. This would be a great microfoliant for summer without being too harsh on the skin. I love how deep it gets into your pores and I haven’t had a face scrub that did that in a while without exfoliating too much.

- This sunscreen is one of my favorites to wear when I’m not wearing any makeup, specifically during winter. This sunscreen is a bit too oily for me to use during spring and summer but helped so much with moisturizing during winter.

Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of these skincare products⬇️

I found that Dermalogica's precleanse is an outstanding makeup remover, especially effective for stubborn products like waterproof mascara. Although it leaves a slight oily residue, it balances well with the follow-up cleanser and prepares the skin perfectly for exfoliation. The brightening exfoliant is another hero product that deserves a spot in year-round skincare routines. Unlike harsh scrubs, this microfoliant delicately removes dead skin cells while deeply cleansing pores, which is essential to prevent winter skin dullness and congestion. This product is gentle enough for sensitive skin yet effective enough to provide a visible glow. Lastly, using the right sunscreen in winter is often overlooked but critical to protect against UV damage all year round. Dermalogica’s sunscreen excels in moisturizing dry skin typical of the colder months. While it may feel too oily for warmer days, its hydrating formula works wonders as a non-makeup day product, helping maintain skin barrier and suppleness. From personal experience, integrating these products into my seasonal skincare routine made a noticeable difference. I urge skincare enthusiasts to consider match their products not only to weather but also to specific skin needs like hydration levels and sensitivity. Always patch test new products and observe how your skin reacts to find the best winter skincare match. Have you tried any of these Dermalogica favorites or similar products? Sharing your experiences can help others optimize their skincare routines!
