Help me pick an Owala bottle!
Hey guys! I’m trying to get in the habit of drinking more water! My 2024 goal is to try and loose roughly about 20 lbs, and I believe drinking a lot of water throughout the day will help aid in that weight loss.
I would be taking this water bottle with me to work, my college classes, and also to the beach in the summer.
The reason I’m looking at Owalas compared to Stanley’s is because Owalas are leak proof! I’ve heard there’s a piece off amazon to attach to a Stanley so it becomes leak proof, but I’d rather just buy something that’s already leak-proof approved!
Pros:
- price! The price of the 40 oz Stanley’s range anywhere from $45-$85! I’ve found that the Owala 40 oz can be purchased through Amazon for only $37! There’s also a few I’ve seen for $27!
- the color ways! I love how vibrant the Owalas look! I have a 24 oz tumblr that’s blue/green and thought that getting another Owala with a handle could be great!
Let me know in the comments what you think! Also if u have any tips to loose weight I’m open to hearing those tips as well!
Okay, so like many of you, I've been on a mission to drink more water this year, especially with my personal goal of shedding about 20 pounds. Hydration is key, right? That's why I started looking for the ultimate water bottle that could keep up with my crazy schedule – juggling work, college classes, and even summer trips to the beach. And honestly, the big question on my mind, and probably yours too, was: are Owala water bottles truly leak-proof? After carrying it around for a while, I can confidently say, yes, in my experience, the Owala FreeSip is incredibly leak-proof! This was a huge deal for me, especially after hearing all the stories about other popular brands having spill issues. I mean, who wants their textbooks, laptop, or beach bag soaked? The design with the spill-resistant lid is genuinely impressive. It has a secure locking mechanism that gives me peace of mind. I've tossed it into my backpack, left it rolling around in the car, and even had it tumble off my desk, and not a single drop has escaped. Seriously, this feature alone makes it a game-changer for someone always on the go. Now, let's talk about the Owala FreeSip insulated feature. This isn't just a fancy name; it's a brilliant design. The FreeSip spout is what sets it apart – you can either sip through the built-in straw or tilt it back to chug from the wide opening. It’s super convenient, whether I'm taking quick sips during a lecture or gulping down water after a workout. And the insulation? It's fantastic! My water stays ice-cold for hours, even when I'm out in the sun at the beach. I've put ice in it in the morning, and by evening, there are still cubes clinking around. This is crucial for me because if my water isn't cold and refreshing, I'm less likely to drink it. The FreeSip design coupled with the insulation truly encourages me to reach for my bottle constantly. Another thing I really appreciate, which I noticed in the bottle images, is the sturdy carry handle. It seems like a small detail, but it makes a big difference. It’s comfortable to hold, and I can easily hook it onto my bag or just carry it with one finger when my hands are full. This practical design element contributes so much to its 'on the go' functionality, especially when I'm rushing between classes or heading out for a walk. The vibrant colors are a bonus too; it actually makes me excited to use it! For anyone looking to boost their hydration for weight loss or just general well-being, an Owala FreeSip water bottle is a solid choice. It addresses the main concerns of being leak-proof and keeping drinks cold with its insulated design. Plus, the convenience of the FreeSip spout and the carry handle makes it incredibly practical for daily use. Staying hydrated has become so much easier and more enjoyable, and I genuinely feel it's helping me on my journey to a healthier me. If you're on the fence, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!
