Some people may be bored with work, bored with working, engineer line, do not grow, so want to try to change the line but do not know what to prepare
This is the personal experience that led me to go from an engineer to a PM or a tech project and say goodbye to a full engineer.
✅ give yourself the opportunity not to reject work if not necessary, responsible for other than engineering, such as marketing, sales, coordination and project work, if possible.
Get a variety of skills.
✅ learn all the time. Study Digital, Project Management, AI and new tools to maximize the potential for work.
✅ always update Resume and Portfolio to be ready when good opportunities come in.
✅ regularly follow job announcements to see what skills the market needs and prepare to meet their needs.
✅ Networking, talking to people in the field, attending seminars or communities to open up new opportunities.
✅ are responsible for challenging tasks, because many times growth comes from jobs that have never been done before.
✅ improve communication and presentation skills because whether Digital or Project Management, communication with management, team and customers is an important skill.
จากประสบการณ์ของหลายคนที่เคยย้ายสายงานจากวิศวกรมาเป็นสายบริหารโครงการ (PM) หรือสาย Digital Tech ที่ผมได้พบ พบว่าเรื่องสำคัญนอกจากการเพิ่มพูนทักษะเฉพาะทาง เช่น Project Management หรือ Digital Tools แล้ว การเปิดใจรับงานใหม่ ๆ นอกเหนือจากหน้าที่วิศวกรรมเดิมก็ช่วยสร้างประสบการณ์และพัฒนาศักยภาพได้มาก ในยุคนี้ที่โลกกำลังเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว หลายบริษัทเริ่มนำเทคโนโลยี AI และระบบ Agile มาใช้ ซึ่งหากใครที่ศึกษาหาความรู้ในด้าน Digital และ AI ร่วมด้วย จะได้รับโอกาสมากขึ้น ผมได้เห็นหลายคนประสบความสำเร็จจากการกล้ารับงานที่ท้าทาย ไม่กลัวที่จะล้มเหลว เช่น ลองทำงานขาย หรือประสานงานโครงการ ทำให้ได้เรียนรู้การสื่อสารและการบริหารความสัมพันธ์กับผู้คนในองค์กร ทั้งซึ่งเป็นทักษะที่สายวิศวกรทั่วไปอาจขาดไป การอัปเดต Resume และ Portfolio ให้แสดงถึงความหลากหลายของทักษะอย่างสม่ำเสมอช่วยทำให้เวลามีโอกาสดี ๆ เข้ามาจะไม่พลาด นอกจากนี้การสร้างเครือข่ายกับคนในวงการผ่านงานสัมมนาหรือชุมชนออนไลน์ก็ช่วยเปิดประตูสู่สายงานใหม่ ๆ อีกประเด็นสำคัญคือทักษะการสื่อสารที่ต้องฝึกฝนอย่างจริงจัง เพราะไม่ว่าจะเป็นสาย Digital หรือ Project Management การสื่อสารที่ชัดเจนและเข้าใจง่ายกับทีมงาน ผู้บริหาร และลูกค้าเป็นหัวใจสำคัญในการประสบความสำเร็จ ท้ายที่สุด การเปลี่ยนสายงานไม่ใช่เรื่องง่าย แต่ถ้าใครพร้อมเปิดใจเรียนรู้ รับผิดชอบงาน และกล้าออกจากคอมฟอร์ทโซน จะเป็นก้าวสำคัญที่จะพลิกชีวิตการทำงานได้อย่างแท้จริง
