City fields waterfall

The city field waterfall is a medium-sized waterfall located in the Pha Thu National Park, Mekongjium District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The unique highlight is that the watercourse flows through the rocks and down the rocks to the bottom, so that it is called "Lod Thu Waterfall." The surrounding area is shady with various trees. There is a large "giant vine" that is hundreds of years old near the waterfall.

Location: Central Napo District, Mekongjeum District, Ubon Ratchathani Province

Opening hours: Open daily from 7: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m.

Admission: No service charge (free)

Travel: Located along Highway 2112, the waterfall is near the parking spot. On foot, only a short distance reaches the waterfall itself.

💡 Highlights and travel times

Recommended Period: Travel during the rainy season until early winter (around August - December), as it is when the water supply is full of cliffs and most beautiful. If traveling during the dry season, the waterfall will have no water.

Nearby Attractions: Located about 1-3 kilometers from Moonlight Waterfall, you can comfortably organize a joint tour program on the same day.

⚠️ Travel precautions

The rocky area below the waterfall often has a collection of island moss, making it easy for tourists to slip.

Sneakers or shoes with a good grip floor should be worn for safety.

การได้ไปเยือนน้ำตกทุ่งนาเมืองครั้งแรก ผมประทับใจในความงดงามของธรรมชาติที่นี่อย่างมาก น้ำตกนี้โดดเด่นตรงที่สายน้ำจะไหลลอดผ่านซอกและหลืบของหินผาอย่างสวยงาม ซึ่งเป็นจุดที่หาได้ยากในน้ำตกทั่วไป บรรยากาศร่มรื่นด้วยต้นไม้นานาชนิด ทำให้อากาศสดชื่นและเย็นสบาย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง "เถาวัลย์ยักษ์" ที่มีอายุกว่าร้อยปีนั้น นอกจากจะเป็นจุดถ่ายรูปที่สวยงาม ยังให้ความรู้สึกถึงความเก่าแก่และมีชีวิตชีวาของธรรมชาติที่ยั่งยืน นอกจากความสวยงามของน้ำตกแล้ว ทางเดินไปยังตัวน้ำตกก็ไม่ไกลและสะดวกสบาย เหมาะสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวทุกวัย สำหรับใครที่ชอบการถ่ายภาพ ผมแนะนำให้มาในช่วงฤดูฝนถึงต้นฤดูหนาว (สิงหาคม-ธันวาคม) เพราะน้ำจะเต็มและไหลแรง งดงามเหมาะแก่การบันทึกภาพความทรงจำ แต่ควรระมัดระวังเรื่องโขดหินลื่น เนื่องจากมีตะไคร่น้ำสะสมมาก ควรสวมรองเท้าที่มีพื้นยึดเกาะดีเพื่อความปลอดภัย นอกจากนี้ บริเวณน้ำตกยังมีที่จอดรถสะดวก และยังสามารถวางแผนเที่ยวต่อไปยังน้ำตกแสงจันทร์ซึ่งอยู่ใกล้กันได้ด้วย ทริปนี้ทำให้ผมรู้สึกได้พักผ่อนท่ามกลางธรรมชาติที่สวยงามและสงบ เรียกได้ว่าเป็นทางเลือกที่ดีสำหรับคนรักธรรมชาติและอยากหนีความวุ่นวายจากเมืองใหญ่
