Do I find myself naturally wearing a lot of neutrals in the fall and winter? Sure! But do I still enjoy wearing both print and color in the colder months too? Absolutely! In fact, I feel like there is so much more opportunity to inject color and patterns in your style because there are so many more layers and more articles of clothing so you just have more opportunity to add color here and there.
This look I decided to go full on with both the print and color and more than anything, this look made me so happy and truly lifted my mood this day. I typically like to add color in the fall and winter through my outerwear and my accessories. So in this case, the bright yellow poncho and the heels and purse. Now if you are extra like me you can obviously have a colorful main base layer like I do here with this vintage blumarine knit sweater.
At the end of the day, it’s all about having fun! Invest in a few bold outerwear pieces and style them even with simple outfits. Add some colorful accessories such as shoes, tights, jewelry etc!
