How I Really Feel About The Gingham Trend?! 🍒
If you’ve been loving gingham lately, I feel you! It’s such a cute fabric and pattern and it has endured from the cottage core trend and understandably so! I especially love styling gingham for spring and summer. Something about it is so light and airy and feminine however it can sometimes feel a little juvenile and lean too much into the cottage core aesthetic which is not everyone’s cup of tea.
I recently styled this gingham skirt with a navy blue sweater which I feel toned down the gingham a bit and added a bit of a cool-girl vibe as opposed to styling it with a flowy or more feminine top. I did style it with some ballerina heels and my vintage papillon which I feel does make the look cohesive. It’s still cute and feminine but also chic with a cool-girl vibe!
