One of my very first blog post was about how we can turn complaining into gratefulness. I still use this practice today. It seems so small but it really does have a major impact.
When you are not complaining and instead finding reasons to be grateful, you live a happier life. When you change the things you complain about “I have to drive over an hour to this appointment!” into the things you are grateful for “I am very grateful to have the means to fuel my car so I can make the hour drive to my appointment.”
All the good you are searching for in your life will find its way to you.
I think you will be just as surprised as me to learn we complain about a LOT, and most of time about absolutely nothing really important. I did however find some creative ways to help make the transition easier and I am here to share all my grateful energy, as well as my tips with you!
The basic idea is implement 3 easy steps to stop and redirect your thought pattern into gratefulness when you find yourself starting to complain.
✨Just Do It.
You do not need to be in a particular season of life. You are worthy for being grateful for the things you have right here right now.
✨Stop. Breathe. Redirect.
Anytime I caught myself complaining, I’d stop mid-thought, take a deep breath, and redirect the negativity into gratitude. That one breath helps to stop the cycle. Closing my eyes, grounding, and resetting was a game changer. It calmed my mind just enough to find something to be grateful for in the middle of the negativity. It wasn’t easy. Like Les Brown said, “Negative thoughts are like weeds. They’ll keep coming back.” But the more I practiced, the more natural it became. Over time, I noticed I was living in gratitude without even trying.
✨Big or small. Be grateful for it all.
The things you are grateful for do not have to always be the things that are most important to you. By that I mean, when I first started I grabbed a paper and quickly wrote down what l had to be grateful for in the moment. My health, being a mother, the love that I feel through my home ect. As the days went on I realized we can be grateful for the small things too. Something as simple as your favorite coffee coming back on the menu, or a new book release. Before I wouldn't have thought as these things as something to be grateful for, but they are. If it brings you a positive shift in your energy then it is something to be grateful for. Regardless of how big or small.
Moving into a state of gratefulness will change your life and spiritual journey.

This quote is by one of my favorite authors, and it is very true. Once you raise your vibration into a state of gratefulness you will start to attract all the good energy into your life. When the universe feels you being grateful, it will start to give you more blessings. On this cycle your life is sure to become an ongoing celebration of joy and happiness, and when you are full of joy your spiritual journey will become a lot easier. Your manifestations will be easier. Your energy is bright and you are more balanced.
Today, I hope you have the courage to find the gratefulness in the complaining. To look at life through a lens of “I don’t have to…I GET to” You are living a life people are praying for. Be grateful for it 🫶🏻
