So, getting my Spotify Wrapped 2024 results always feels like opening a Christmas present! This year, I was so excited to see Noah Kahan dominating my top artist spot, proving my 'Cottagecore Ukulele Indie Folk' phase was truly real, haha! But beyond just seeing my own numbers, I love seeing everyone else's too. It's such a fun way to connect over music. One thing I always look forward to is sharing my Wrapped on Instagram stories. It's a fantastic way to spark conversations with friends! I usually pick my favorite slides, especially the 'top artists slide' and the 'top songs' one. The key is to make it visually engaging. Sometimes I add a poll asking "Do we have similar taste?" or "What was your top song?". You can also use the built-in Spotify sharing features directly to your stories for a seamless look. Don't forget to tag your friends if their songs show up, or if you want to challenge their taste! Speaking of top artists, Noah Kahan was definitely a huge one for me this year, clocking in over 1,400 minutes! It seems like 'Stick Season' and his other tracks were everywhere. If he was in your top artists too, you're definitely not alone. I’ve noticed a lot of people also had artists like boygenius, Faye Webster, and Mac DeMarco making appearances in their indie-focused Wrapped summaries, much like my 'Lovecore Permanent Wave Indie' genre. It's cool to see how these artists resonate with so many. For those of you who might've had a 'Wild West Slow Dance Country' vibe like me in March, artists like Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan probably made your list. It's always a surprise to see those genre blends Spotify comes up with! And for my top song, 'Where Did I Go Wrong' by Crowe Boys was a total standout – 92 streams got me into the top 0.005% of their listeners, which is wild! It just shows how much you can dive deep into an artist. If you're still exploring your Wrapped, make sure to check out your 'Wrapped Stories' in the Spotify app – they're designed to be shared easily. And don't just stop at music! My top podcasts, like 'Emergency Intercom' and 'anything goes with emma chamberlain' also gave me a good laugh and some insightful listens this year. What surprises did your Spotify Wrapped 2024 hold for you? I’d love to hear about your top artists, genres, or any unexpected discoveries!
