DITL of a mom to 5 month old
✨ A Day in the Life of a First-Time Mom with My 5-Month-Old ✨
Today was a mix of milestones, transitions, and sweet family moments.
🕊 Morning: We kicked things off by getting ready for church, soaking in some much-needed peace and reflection to start the day right.
🏠 Progress Check: After church, we headed to the house we’re building to check on updates. It was so exciting to see the closet shelving going in — the kids’ closets are officially done! Every little step makes it feel more real.
📦 Closing a Chapter: Next, we went to our condo to officially move out. It’s the end of an era filled with beautiful memories, but we’re so ready for this next chapter.
🌳 New Beginnings: We took a family walk in our future neighborhood, soaking up the lovely weather and dreaming of the days ahead.
🍴 Family Feast: Dinner was a cozy family affair, topped off with s’mores cookies and chocolate ganache ice cream — pure bliss!
🌙 Nighttime Transition: We wrapped up the day by working on sleep training for Kade and trying to implement a better nighttime routine. Fingers crossed for smoother nights ahead!
Motherhood is full of big changes and little joys, and I’m learning to embrace them all. ❤️
