These aren't just rules; they're your patient's safeguards. And don't forget the antidotes! Knowing that Naloxone reverses opioids or Vitamin K is for Warfarin can literally save a life. Leveraging Resources & Specific Examples While there are many great pharmacology study apps and pharmacology nursing notes pdfs out there, and even channels like “Pharmacology Made Easy” on YouTube, I found it most effective to integrate what I learned from these into my own study guides. For drugs like Glucagon, Potassium Chloride, or Lisinopril (often seen in ATI medication templates), I'd create my own mini-template, covering drug class, mechanism, key side effects, and vital nursing considerations. This personal synthesis was key to making the information truly mine. Pharmacology in nursing school is challenging, but it's also incredibly rewarding when you start to connect the dots.
