Things to take seriously during pregnancy

Excuse the counter I was deep cleaning lol..

UTI- especially when you have a history of having a kidney infection. Trust me from experience it’s not fun having to be hospitalized for the risk at 33 weeks those beds are not comfortable and my pillow didn’t fit.

Self care- This is also one of the most important things for you to do. Your body is working hard 24/7 for 40 weeks straight. If the only thing you did today was take a shower then you did enough!! I can not stress enough how important it is to take care of yourself and avoid extra stress whenever possible.

Gut feelings -YOUR GUT IS ALWAYS RIGHT!! Every pregnancy is different so if your gut is telling you something is wrong listen to it.

Keep connection with your doctor- Tell your doctor everything. I mean everything down to every minor symptom change that might be concerning you. It might be nothing but it also could very well be something.

Your relationship- Always make time for your relationships. You’re about to go through ups and downs and it might seem like you don’t get along at times but having healthy conversations and making time for each other even if it’s just sitting down and watching a show together. You’re not gonna have a lot of time to do those things when baby comes!!

... Read morePregnancy is a unique journey that involves numerous challenges and changes, making it crucial for expectant mothers to be informed and prepared. One key area to focus on is nutrition; a balanced diet rich in essential vitamins and minerals supports both the mother’s health and the baby’s development. Foods high in folic acid, such as leafy greens and citrus fruits, can significantly reduce the risk of birth defects. Moreover, staying hydrated is vital; drinking plenty of water helps to maintain amniotic fluid levels and supports overall body function. Mental health is equally important during pregnancy. Many women experience a range of emotions due to hormonal changes, which can contribute to anxiety or mood swings. Finding healthy outlets for stress through activities such as yoga or meditation can foster a sense of calm and well-being. Additionally, surrounding oneself with a supportive network of family and friends can provide reassurance and encouragement. Regular prenatal check-ups are essential to monitor both the mother’s and baby’s health. Open communication with healthcare providers allows for addressing any concerns early and receiving guidance tailored to the individual’s circumstances. Ultimately, trusting one’s intuition and understanding that each pregnancy is unique can empower women to advocate for themselves and make informed decisions regarding their health.

on the flip side, things to take less seriously are all the "rules" that have been debunked now that we have more research and information. like caffeine consumption and only sleeping on your left side, things like that ❤️ drink your daily coffee if you need it, and sleep however is most comfortable ladies!
